This project was shot in Zagreb, Croatia where I lived for many years. The images are set against the backdrop of a post-war-torn city that one could interpret as desecrated and rundown. However, despite its history, this city (and country as a whole) boasted the most resilient, warm, and kind people I’ve ever lived amongst. The stains and scars of the past may make up the physical tapestry of this region, however, the inner beauty of both the country and its people cannot be understated.
